micoach is all you need to get the results you want.
I would recommend these boots to anyone who cant afford the dearer 16.1 Primeknits. They took little to no break-in time unlike the Magistas. They are true to size and I use them on artificial ground and firm ground and I have had no problems. They have a very good touch on the ball and are extremely comfortable.
There are so many positive things I can say about this shoe. As a runner and shoe lover, I can completely recommend this shoe to everyone. The boost midsole and lifted arch give you the right amount of support for the perfect, smooth ride.
Having completed a 5km, 10km and half Marathon in these I feel comfortable stating that these are a great pair of running Trainers. They are a real improvement over the Adios 2s which I found were far too narrow and caused me pain, thankfully Adidas have corrected this. I also like the styling.
I bought these to go with my "new year, new me" resolution to start swimmng. THey are extremeley easy to slid on and off and provide a nice grip on the floor and soften the impact when walking on cold wet tiles. I particularly like the fact they are adjustable so you can change the fit.
Just got these. Smashed out 17 miles my first go and hawt dog, these are fire! Great fit, and I love the cushion to stiffness ratio. I have a lot of running shoes and these are officially # 1. Will be shredding the Boston Marathon in them this year. The perfect marathon shoe.
As an Aussie in London, the biggest thing to get used to is the rain. Whether walking to a pub (in the rain), going on a hike (in the rain), or jogging (in the rain), these shoes have been brilliant. Nice, light, pretty versatile and let you get out and about even in a deluge.
The shoe featured a Jacquard upper that gave you more of a premium feel, there were some other synthetics used but it qas nothiing compared to the upper. The cushion featured Bounce which is a cushioning component with a high rubber content that gave you that springy and plush feeling you want when when jumping, overall the cushion was great and didn't sacrifice too much court feel. The traction was the only thing to really complain about. The traction pattern featured a storytelling traction in the form of Herringboine which is your usual suspect. The grooeves on the pattern were tight and close together wich gathered a lot of dust, keep in mind this was a minor problem that a few wipes should take care of. The fit was superb for an Adidas model allthough it ran a little long. The way the shoe contoured around the foot was great. Thus shie was a great example of a shoe that is more of an extention of your foot. The shoe featured a lot of references from Damiian's hometown Oakland which makes the shoe interesting to look at. The support and the lockdown on the shoe was also really good, it had a TPU heel counter that may have looked really 'heavy duty' but in reality was quite light but did its job. Overall the Adidas D Lillard 2 is an above average that provides premium comforrt especially for its insanely cheap price!!
If you were to tell someone that there was a shoe that had the traction of the Kobe 9, the upper of a Jordan XX9, and the responsiveness of a Curry, you wouldn't necessarily think "Adidas". However, the D Lillard 2 is about to make you a believer. Put a Nike swoosh on this shoe and all the hype beasts will be lined up around the corner ready to pay $200+. Like I said above, everything about this shoe is great. I was SUPER skeptical about the traction initially--being so tight-- but it somehow works exceptionally. On clean courts you'll be perfect, however on dusty courts you'll have to wipe every few plays but then you're golden. Cushion is different from boost, but still very good. Personally, I like boost better, but other people will like bounce better. This is not to say bounce is bad, but boost is more for impact protection, bounce is more responsive. The build quality and materials are second to none. Excellent. I've heard of these running a little large, but i have a pretty wide foot so running true to size was good for me. Aesthetically, this is similar to the crazy light boost silhouette, which I absolutely cherish. To conclude, if you're all about performance and bang for your buck, the D Lillard 2 is something special. If you're more concerned about rocking the swoosh and having the most hyped up shoe, maybe you should tread lightly. It's not the shoe that'll make you great, but these give you one heck of a foundation.
My son is really made up with these and so are we! He loves the pattern on the sole, they're comfortable, supportive, breathable and great quality. Delivery was super fast and we will be buying another pair for my step son. Only thing we were gutted about... We wanted his name on them but I feel £5 PER SHOE is just ridiculous. Other than that a fantastic buy.
Love these trainers, second pair, plenty of grip in all conditions. I always get a half size bigger when ordering adidas trainers and they fit perfect. Picture below was just after a 10 mile mud run without a problem.
BEST bang for you buck out there! I dare you to name a better basketball shoe with these materials for less or equal value! For me they fit true to size. I am a true 11.5 and I bought an 11.5 length and width are perfect! I also wear an 11.5 in the rose 6 if anyone else needed any other reference. I do like the fact that adidas put a thicker insole than what was in the rose 6 and crazy light boost 2015. The full length bounce cushion is amazing! You get great court feel without sacrificing comfort! I have roughly about 12hrs of playtime in the them as I am writing this and they are honestly my favorite to play in right now! My legs and feet feel good after I'm done playing always a plus! The tech fit bootie is awesome its like putting on a sock. Can't wait for the other colors to drop! I buy many other brands and gave adidas a chance toward the end of last year and now this year again! What ever yall are doing keep it up! I believe there is great things for adidas this year!
The look and feel of this shoe is what I had been searching for. I wanted a waterproof shoe that would be versatile enough to wear out walking/running and as a casual shoe as well. After hours of trying to find something that fitted the bill I came across this one. Perfect in every way except the size! I already own a pair of Adidas FastR Terrex shoes that I purchased in a size 11. They are a near perfect fit, so I ordered this pair in a size 11. But to my surprise they were a good 2-3 cm longer than the ones I have. They were so much larger that I have had to return them and it left me wondering if they had been marked up wrongly? I do however plan on reordering the same model once I work out what size I need as they are the perfect shoe, comfortable and good looking.
You have to take your time to find all the details that were put into these shoes like Oakland on the bottom, Damian Lillard D on the eyelets etc. They fit snug the Bounce is responsive. I'll admit I bought these to wear casually but I'll need to buy another pair to Ball in because I think they'll perform well.
Great shoe! Great materials, fit, and comfort! Bounce is pretty good, and boost on some others will be awesome! Great grip too, except on dusty courts you'll have to wipe frequently! SOLID shoe Adidas!
It's like having a set of tyres strapped to your feet. Walk on a wooden floor in them and you will squeak and turn with the agility of a125cc go cart with Lewis Hamilton at the wheel. Chuck on your overly bright, yet rugged trail gear and put them through their paces in the mud and you won't be disappointed. These are a proper set of mud flickers that ooze style and quality. On a down side if you have hobbit feet then they are a little on the narrow side. If that's not an issue for you I recommend you sell a kidney and use the finances to grip and squeak your way into the hills for some serious running!
Overall the Lillard 2 is an amazing shoe from adidas. It has premium materials for max comfort. The traction is 8.5 out of 10 because there were times I had to wipe the sole (not often) but if you make sure to wipe every 10 mins on dusty courts you are good. The Bounce midsole is in my opinion better than Boost because it's softer and more durable overall.I recommend this shoe over every other performance shoes because they are comfortable and have better traction. Lillard 2- 9.8/10
Another great example of GTX work from Adidas. The fit is perfect & the lacing system adds to that. Sole grips very well, unfortunately this leads to squeaking when walking on polished surface's. Great colour way, perhaps some 3M would have been a great addition given the tech nature of the shoe. Works well in combination with ACRONYM.
The shoe was good overall, good rubber compound, materials, cushion. If you want a pair i would recommend going a half size down as they do run large. Width wise it was ok. I have wide feet, so those of you that do too i would say to get them the size you always get if you don't have a store nearby but if you do, try them on first.
Look better than on picture, good quality materials, perfect for winter days. Got them for my boyfriend and he loves them. One downside is that you won't find them in most Adidas stores therefore order online sizes that are good for you, deliver them to store and pick the right size, that's what I did. Apart from that everything great.
I bought these for the upcoming wet wintry weather. I've run four times over the last two weeks in very wet conditions and there's a few things to mention on these. Initial impressions: like much of the technical Adidas range I have these look so well made and precisely finished. High quality materials and interesting design touches. Sizing: I am a size 10 but had to send the first 10s back and ended up with a 10.5 so they run a little small. Forefoot area is nicely sized as I have a idea foot and these fit nicely, not too snug. Comfort: they do seem heavy for a running shoe but that hasn't even too noticeable on a run, there is more substance to these and that does show positives on the trail. The tongue has a stiff neoprene rubber type top which is pre-curved and initially I didn't like it as I thought it would dig into the front of my leg. However this hasn't caused any irritation yet so the jury is still out. The pull tight lace system is okay, I usually prefer an elastic pull system and I can't quite get these right yet but it's still early days and I do like the concept. Performance: I run in a real mixture of Tarmac, compacted soil, leaves, sand both soft and compacted, and grass/soil. All of this is over a 5k run I have right outside my door. So far they've worked well apart from the tread does get clogged easily with wet soil and sand. Not that it seems to affect grip just that you can feel the clogging when running. Interestingly after a short run on Tarmac or harder surfaces, it was all gone. No water has penetrated inside yet so I'm confident these can be a really good winter trail shoe. Summary: I love the looks and so far they run well. Time will tell whether the tongue is an issue and whether the lace system ends up getting lashed and replaced with my usual elastic ones. My only main gripe is the lack of stock everywhere. I took ages to track these down and the best colours (IMHO!) seem to be in the women's versions. Other than that I'm liking these and can see them being with me all season.
Really light weight shoes perfect for speed work. The Continental soles give impressive grip whilst the Boost technology provides a firm but responsive feel. Slightly narrow in the front so would recommend a half size up but the mesh upper does provide plenty of flexibility. And I love the colours!!
I bought a par of GTX shoes last year and they have held up amazingly, so I purchased these. Love the grip and the fact that I don't have soggy feet in the rain or wet grass. I coach football and baseball and love wearing these for these reasons. They seem a bit longer then my last pair. I am not quite thrilled with the tying system, I like laces myself. These are great shoes and I have recommended them to anyone who asks .
I buy my running shoes 1/2 a size bigger than my usual shoes and when I got these my first impression was they are too small. But thinking sending them back is a lot of hassle I tried them and they are perfect! They are light and you hardly feel that you wear trainers apart from having a sole to run on. Highly recommended!
The shoe shown on Adidas website saying Boston Boost 5 is actually Boston Boost 5 TSF. TSF has the "sock fit" liner and removed the extra suede strip across the front of the shoe that was on Boston Boost 5. The major difference in the TSF, ironically, is a thick rigid material that serves as anchor for the shoelace eyelets. This material extends much farther beyond the eyelets than it needs to and is not overlayed well by the tongue of the shoe. It chafes from the moment the shoe is put on. The Boston Boost 5 has a very narrow, soft, sewn-In anchor that is nothing like this that is not detectable by the foot. Boston was great when it was Boston 3; firm sole yet supportive and light, truly a marathon shoe that could go the distance with some speed. Boston 4 was too squishy. Boston 5 is not bad, took awhile to get accustomed to the Boost. But this shoe is not Boston Boost 5, it is Boston Boost 5 TSF. I will be sending back. I have been in Asides for the 15 years I have been running an am fairly disappointed in the oversight on this shoe with this excess rigid material in the shoe. The least they could do is cut back the material and sew in the tongue to completely cover. I hope this isn't a trend in this generation of Adidas shoes.
An ongoing problem with Adidas is the very small sizing. I ordered half a size bigger than usual but they are way too small and very narrow.A shame really because they look like a quality product. I have a pair of Boost golf shoes and managed to find a 12, wide fitting instead of my normal 11, and they are superb. I will try ordering a bigger size again and see if they fit any better, but it is frustrating having to order and return goods because the size is wrong.
