The adisocks 12 are a well constructed football sock. Starting from the top, the material and for is comfortable, not being constructive but not flimsy and does not feel like the sock is going to fall down. The ankle area has a fitted area that once again is firm and helps hold up your shin pad and is not to tight. The foot region is well padded and comfortable, possibly a bit thicker would be absolutely perfect.
Brought 15 pairs for my football team. They are a great fit and so comfortable when we wearing them. The whole team love them also havent lost a game since wearing them. Will be buying some more when required.
My son loves the style of these socks but found them difficult to get on. There isn't much stretch in them - and even less once they have been washed. Disappointing as they are good quality and have a padded sole etc - just not much use if you struggle to pull them on, especially over shin pads. My son is of slim build so it's not as if he has abnormally chunky legs!
I have a narrow foot and the shoe fit absolutely perfectly! I'm usually an 8.5 and got a size 9. So try to go a half size up if possible. Comfortable, lightweight, so far they have been great boots for football. I really have nothing bad to say about them.
My son is a pain when it comes to socks, particularly football socks. They're either too tight, too long, too itchy or have hard parts that touch his toes. Dillon put these socks on without one complaint! After 8 years of daily moans about one thing or another I thought I'd actually gone deaf when he put these on! But no! He was in fact happy! I will ordering more and highly recommend these especially for moany kids that have issues with socks! Thanks!
Absolutely perfect socks - love the ventilation, the cushioning and they stay up well. Careful of sizing - I'm 6'1 and wear 9.5 (43 and 1/3 in adidas boots) and get the 6.5 - 8 size as erring on the larger 'correct' size (8.5 - 10) results in a toe seam that catches inside the boot and they don't stay up as well. Length is not an issue with either size but err a bit smaller if you like them a snugger.
You would not have thought socks were that important; but a well fitting pair of cushioned socks make an enormous difference. These were the last in a series of efforts to find the perfect football sock, and they are superb. Choose these first.
I brought these for my son who absolutely loves them. The fit is perfect, they are really great quality and are extremely comfortable. Infact since we brought them he has saved every goal that has come his way. I can't recommend them highly enough.
Bought these for my 9 yr old son ( he chose them ) and he couldnt be happier with them . Initially they are tricky to get on- the tounge is built into the sock but he tells me they are a great fit and 'sick'boots to ply in
My family and kids (soccer players) love Adidas products. Their club is Adidas so it is all we try to purchase and as mentioned, we love it. However, these new Ghost Pro shin guards, at least in the XS size are not right. The sleeves are extra small, but the pads are S, they don't even look like the guards would fit in the sleeve. I ordered a pair returned/exchanged them and the same thing on the second pair. An XS sleeve with what appears to be a S shin guard. Very disappointed as I wanted these for my little All-Star. See photos compared to standard Ghost XS shin guard
The finger saves provide a ton of support to the fingers and overall back of the hand which is great. The grip on the gloves is good as well. Probably more than what I needed for just pick-up games...but still a great purchase! PS. I'm not a goalie....so I'm not too sure what exactly to look for in a good pair of glove. More than happy with these though!
These are great, good fit - I'm size 10.5 and ordered 10.5-12, thought they might be a bit on the large size but they're fine. Good quality, good price, super comfy and stylish. I bought 2 pairs. Haven't had them long but in my experience adidas football socks always last longer than other cheaper brands so well worth paying the extra couple of quid for quality.
2 games after getting them they come apart at the seams in two different places, on different gloves. The first time I wore them I was warming up for 10 minutes, looked down at my gloves and noticed a 2 inch gap on my right thumb... they totally unravelled... I had to go into the field's office and use a stapler to keep them together for the game until I could sew them at home. At the end of my second game wearing them I looked at my gloves and saw a huge gap at the seam of my left thumb/palm... These are garbage.. I'm not even going to try a third game because they will probably fall off my hands... Do not buy these... they are junk... and waste of money... I'm out$$ on a pair of useless gloves.
These socks are rather tight - something I like as it prevents them from slipping down your legs during a game. Even without a shin pad slipped inside, the socks still remain where you put them from the minute you put them on. I feel as though I don't sweat as much using these socks, unlike others I have used previous. I wasn't actually looking for these socks, I was after a different pair however I'm extremely content with this product.
