Fantastic running shoes

I've recently taken up running and decided it was time to splash out on some decent shoes at I increased my distance and speed. After reading several 'best running shoes' articles, the only ones that featured in all of them were the Adizero Adios 4 (or 3). I was initially put off by the price, but with Adidas's 33% off promotion I decided to take a chance and bought a pair. As soon at I put them on for the first time I knew they'd be good. They fitted like a glove (I went half a size up a recommended) and they felt great. I've only worn them twice for running so far, but beat my best time for 5km by over 1 minute first time out, and my 10km time by over 2 minutes in my second run. I'm looking forward to more runs in them in the near future with realistic expectations of running faster and faster. ... read more

Light, fast shoe, the upper is amazing

I hate to take my Adios off! The shoes have a very quick turnover at any pace. Extremely comfortable up to 20 miles. I'm sure a marathon would be fine too. My feet are average width and I find the upper to be the best of any shoe I've worn in years -- my foot is perfectly locked down but never feels compressed at all. And the Adios looks so understated and classy too. Great shoe... ... read more

Beautiful lightweight running shoes, great for race day

I brought these running shoes for a 10 k hilly race and was pleased to get a pb by several minutes. Also ran a 22.30 minute 5k too and I’m a 57kg 40+ female runner. Perfect for race day where lightweight supporting trainers are needed- absolutely love them, will buy again. ... read more

Paid for name printed on product, arrived peeling off.

Decent runner and light weight. Paid additional to have it printed with name which arrived peeling off on one shoe. Makes them look poor straight away. Not worth the additional charge. But the runner itself is a good product. ... read more

Feels like socks attached on Adizero sole.

When I tried men's 5 in store , it felt supportive and fit as Adizero Adios and I was excited to oredr size 5.5 in women size when women version came out. However, when I put them on they felt very flat, nothing like Adizero Adios or one I tried in store. After ran an our in them, top part of the shoes was stretched out and nothing hold my toes together. i am returning them. Not good product. ... read more

Need larger sizes!

Need larger sizes, no sizes above 13 available. I really like the style & tried size13 but they run way too tight. I can wear size 13 in The Pureboost, but Adizero won’t work. Size 14 would be perfect ... read more

Great Shoes!

These shoes are so stylish and so comfortable! They are lightweight and have good cushion on the bottom. I'm hoping for how expensive they are, they'll last me for a long time. I bought them for work where I'm on my feet for 10+ hours. The only thing I would recommend is sizing down. I'm usually a women's 8 for every day shoes and an 8 1/2 for Adidas shoes. But for some reason, these run very large. I ended up going with the size 8 but I could have gone down to the 7 1/2 for an exact fit. ... read more

The perfect running shoe

I’ve worn the adizeros from the original introduction never had a problem or a single blister/toenail issue. I’ve used them for everything off road, track, racing marathons and ultras ....... they are the ONLY trainer I’d be confident to wear out of the box for a marathon and KNOW I wouldn’t have a problem. ... read more

Most comfy running shoe I’ve had

Got a 25% discount item friends and family discount. Received promptly on day I was told I would receive them. When running I land on the front part of my foot and my adios 4s give me the appropriate space in the toe box with out being to spacious. Running on air love them would highly recommend ... read more

Great tennis shoe great support

Great tennis shoe make sure to go down a half size I normally wear a 6 so got 5 1/2 and fit was great takes a couple of wears to break them in as edge of the top was digging in to my ankle to begin with if you like to wear a little loose on the laces just tighten up the laces and this eliminates the problem and after a few wears all good really cool shoe though ... read more

Don't like the arch...

In my opinion, the Adios 3 are more comfortable. The Adios 4 run about 1/2 size too small. Also, there's an uncomfortable feeling in the arch area. Almost like something is pressing into my foot. It certainly wasn't a defect because I ordered the shoe more than once. ... read more

Too narrow

If you have wide feet do not buy these runners. I usually take a 10.5 so i went to a size 11 when getting these, but they might aswell given me a size 10, they were so narrow. It really fely like they gave me a size down, thats how tight and unfortable these runners were. With the Adios 3, a size 11 fitted me fine, it was snug but i would have been able to wear and run in them. However, they've really messed up the sizing with the Adios 4. It's apity as i was really looking forward to running in these. I returned mine. ... read more

Best race shoe from 5km to marathon

I’ve tried lots of shoes but can’t find anything that compares to these for speed work and racing. Incredible comfort from such a lightweight shoe and really fast combined with great style. Cute and Comfy

These shoes are very cute (I got the pink) and are comfortable right out of the box. I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 because for my one sore foot they do not provide quite enough padding or support on the bottom, even with my orthotic. I am keeping them though with the hopes that I can wear them to play tennis when my foot gets well, or just for wearing around town. (My foot issue is capsulitis if that helps anyone else with the same issue.) ... read more

Dont buy if you’ve got wide feet

Usually take a U.K. 10.5 but got a size U.K. 11, these runners are very narrow, really uncomfortably narrow unfortunately, which is a pity as I was really looking forward to running in them as they’ve got good reviews. If you’ve got wide feet just stay clear of these or at least try them on in-store. I returned mine. ... read more

Good purchase

Fit to my narrow foot as Adios 3 - great looks! I was worried about the size and I ordered the same size that Adios 3. I think the laces are a bit too long - there is a little bit more gap for the toes in Adios 4 than in Adios 3. This does not bother me. Good running shoes and I definitely recommend it. ... read more

Improved design, much tighter fit

Having worn Adios Boosts for several years, I was very excited for the Adios Boost 4. The design and construction has certainly lived up to the hype, however the fit is much tighter than previous models. If you have a wide foot, I think you would really struggle with these. I recommend going up a half size at least. The shoe also comes with the tongue stitch to the upper which make them almost impossible to get on and add an extra layer of tightness. I had to unpick the stitching and now the shoes a good. May consider returnng for a bigger size then these will be perfect. Overall, happy with the new Adios, they are lighter and feel even faster. ... read more

Excellent, lightweight runner!

Wore all previous Adizero Adios - here had to size-down by 1/2 a size and replace the harder insole in the 4s with a trimmed softer one from old 3s!

I have worn Adizero Adios since 'the beginning' and each change in version has been easy to get on with. So far with Version 4, whilst it seems (PROS) lighter and more aesthetically pleasing, (CONS / WORKAROUNDS) I have had to order a UK half size smaller than previously in the end, otherwise I was not getting the usual snappy toe-off response. I also initially found that the insole in the 4 is too hard for me and had too much arch support and almost felt like it was verging on the orthotic. This was easily remedied when I changed this and put in an old insole from one of my 3s (and trimmed down its toe slightly to fit). I am still not that happy about the way that the fabric flexes on the forefoot and creates scratching / pressure - inner forefoot - where I don't normally have trouble with either my road or other trail running shoes. It seems like very careful lacing pressure set-up is key in managing this. However I am sufficiently worried that in my particular case (and I do not have 'weird feet') that I may not get used to these in time for the London Marathon, that I have just emergency purchased what seems like one of the last few remaining pairs of the previous version in my size 'just in case'. This is meant to be a realistic review listing my workarounds and concerns for anyone in a similar position to me. Hope it helps! ... read more

Love Adidas but not these

Whilst pretty stylish for tennis trainers they are a lighter red, verging on pink than shown in pictures. These were on the smaller side and were quite tight due to it not having a separate tongue. Due to a lot of ankle padding I would recommend going up half a size from your normal. ... read more

Painful during my tennis match

The built in tongue comes up way too high on my foot and caused excessive pressure on my front ankle as I ran to balls during my singles match. My foot hurt so much I almost had to retire, but then I folded the top of the tongue down and that provided some relief. Also, wearing higher socks is a must. I really like the look of the shoe, the fit at toe box and bottom of sole, but the ankle area does not work for me. I have a narrow ankle. ... read more

Pretty good

I found myself buying some Adios 4s when there weren't any Sub2s in stock, needless to say, I'm not disappointed with my decision. The Adios feels great to race in. The width was a bit narrow in comparison to the Sub2 (I have Wide feet) but I'm sure they'll break in after a few more runs. As expected the Adios is slightly more plush and heavier than the Sub2 which is more responsive and Light. Personally, I would enjoy the Adios just as much as the Sub2 if it was slightly more wide around the middle to the toe area and maybe shaving a bit more weight (some lightweight trainers from other brands had similar weights) however its pretty lightweight as it is. Overall I recommend this shoe to people who have pretty average feet. ... read more

A superb running experience. The best shoes I ever had.

I broke my own record, with these shoes. I am ready to break more records. Too extra space inside would not be good because it would make it slower. Although it might seem a bit too tight initially, it will become completely normal after wearing it for 30 minutes. Do not select a size larger than your normal. I prefer to use these shoes for competition, and I use an other pair for the gym and walking. But keep in mind that these shoes will help keep your feet injury free in all cases. ... read more

Top Running Shoes.

Really like these shoes, I'd go as far as to say they're the best I've had over the past 3 or 4 years. Good impact absorption, very comfortable all round, no rubbing or pinching anywhere. I particularly like the support and padding around the heel area, which really works for me. The lacing can be customised a little to get an individual fit. Adidas do recommend going up half a size over your usual with these shoes, I had to go up from 10 to 11 to get a perfect fit, but that's just my feet! ... read more
