The adidas Boston 7 trainers are high quality trainers. I use them to run and workout in and they provide support and comfort. Size wise, they are not bulky and fit to size. The perfect trainers for those who will use them to run and gym. I will but again. 5* ... read more

Fantastic Everyday Running Shoe

I use these for my easy and long runs. Super comfy on the road and light weight. Purchased these online using the same sizing as my Adizero Adios 3 and they were a perfect fit. Last weeks long run was 21km with 11km of trails and they performed brilliantly. Will definitely purchase another pair. ... read more

Too narrow

If you have wide feet do not buy these runners. I usually take a 10.5 so i went to a size 11 when getting these, but they might aswell given me a size 10, they were so narrow. It really fely like they gave me a size down, thats how tight and unfortable these runners were. With the Adios 3, a size 11 fitted me fine, it was snug but i would have been able to wear and run in them. However, they've really messed up the sizing with the Adios 4. It's apity as i was really looking forward to running in these. I returned mine. ... read more

Best race shoe from 5km to marathon

I’ve tried lots of shoes but can’t find anything that compares to these for speed work and racing. Incredible comfort from such a lightweight shoe and really fast combined with great style. I’ve PB’d wearing these at every distance incl the marathon at the end of Ironman triathlon when my form would be at its worst ... read more

Cute and Comfy

These shoes are very cute (I got the pink) and are comfortable right out of the box. I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 because for my one sore foot they do not provide quite enough padding or support on the bottom, even with my orthotic. I am keeping them though with the hopes that I can wear them to play tennis when my foot gets well, or just for wearing around town. (My foot issue is capsulitis if that helps anyone else with the same issue.) ... read more

Dont buy if you’ve got wide feet

Usually take a U.K. 10.5 but got a size U.K. 11, these runners are very narrow, really uncomfortably narrow unfortunately, which is a pity as I was really looking forward to running in them as they’ve got good reviews. If you’ve got wide feet just stay clear of these or at least try them on in-store. I returned mine. ... read more

Does what everyone said

I took the advice of many that had gone before me and Adidas that buying a half size bigger would be a wise move. This turned out to be correct and as a consequence the fit was perfect. The main reason I purchased this shoe is because it was light and has a decent lacing system unlike other boost shoes and prevents slipping at one’s heal. It is a shame other Boost shoes do not share this solution - old school. Sole is slightly stiffer and has less bounce that normal Boost shoes. However, that suits a faster paced run and all is well for me on 10 - 15km circuits. ... read more

The standard all others should follow.

A lightweight marathon racer that ticks every box. The quality is fantastic. My only gripe would be the sizing is slightly tight in the toe box. I had version 5. These are definitely an improvement. Get the toebox right and these will be unparalleled. ... read more

Good purchase

Fit to my narrow foot as Adios 3 - great looks! I was worried about the size and I ordered the same size that Adios 3. I think the laces are a bit too long - there is a little bit more gap for the toes in Adios 4 than in Adios 3. This does not bother me. Good running shoes and I definitely recommend it. ... read more

Improved design, much tighter fit

Having worn Adios Boosts for several years, I was very excited for the Adios Boost 4. The design and construction has certainly lived up to the hype, however the fit is much tighter than previous models. If you have a wide foot, I think you would really struggle with these. I recommend going up a half size at least. The shoe also comes with the tongue stitch to the upper which make them almost impossible to get on and add an extra layer of tightness. I had to unpick the stitching and now the shoes a good. May consider returnng for a bigger size then these will be perfect. Overall, happy with the new Adios, they are lighter and feel even faster. ... read more

Excellent, lightweight runner!

Best Marathon shoes in a box

I have ran several marathons now in Boston boosts from series 5 and onwards and find them to be my shoe of choice. I have ran marathons in other brands but havent liked the ride or comfort that the Boston Boosts provide. They are expensive when you go through shoes as fast as i do with an average of 30 to 50 miles a week so i have to shop around for the best deals on them so when i saw the price drop on these ui jumped at them. Manchester marathon on Sunday lets hope these do me proud ... read more

Best performance trainer available!

I've bounced between rival brands for a few years and couldn't find the perfect shoe until now. These are so good I've bought 3 pairs. I find the size true, the advice to size up is good if you use thick socks but otherwise order true to normal. The shoe is soft and supportive, fast and comfortable. Hard to understand how Adidas got all that into 1 shoe! They really are the perfect training and racing shoe from 5k to marathon. Couldn't recommend them more! ... read more

Great versatile shoe for serious runners

A good shoe for interval training or long runs, but it's performance really shines somewhere in the middle for tempos and offday runs. Energy return is unlike any other shoe and really gives you a "bounce in your step". Grip was good even in wet conditions, shoe lasted upwards of 400 miles before midsole started feeling sluggish and worn. Would reccomend. ... read more

Unbalanced

I've purchased the Adizero series before. I've always been satisfied with them in the past. The Boston 7 is different. First the shoe itself is too big. Adidas suggests selecting 1/2 size larger. I did but the shoe is way too big. Feels like it's tailored to Bigfoots feet. Too long and too wide. Because of the big size, the shoe does not stay secure and therefore rubs against my Achilles. If Adidas suggests to get this shoe 1/2 lager for a proper fit then I suggest they need to step up their quality control. ... read more

Wore all previous Adizero Adios - here had to size-down by 1/2 a size and replace the harder insole in the 4s with a trimmed softer one from old 3s!

I have worn Adizero Adios since 'the beginning' and each change in version has been easy to get on with. So far with Version 4, whilst it seems (PROS) lighter and more aesthetically pleasing, (CONS / WORKAROUNDS) I have had to order a UK half size smaller than previously in the end, otherwise I was not getting the usual snappy toe-off response. I also initially found that the insole in the 4 is too hard for me and had too much arch support and almost felt like it was verging on the orthotic. This was easily remedied when I changed this and put in an old insole from one of my 3s (and trimmed down its toe slightly to fit). I am still not that happy about the way that the fabric flexes on the forefoot and creates scratching / pressure - inner forefoot - where I don't normally have trouble with either my road or other trail running shoes. It seems like very careful lacing pressure set-up is key in managing this. However I am sufficiently worried that in my particular case (and I do not have 'weird feet') that I may not get used to these in time for the London Marathon, that I have just emergency purchased what seems like one of the last few remaining pairs of the previous version in my size 'just in case'. This is meant to be a realistic review listing my workarounds and concerns for anyone in a similar position to me. Hope it helps! ... read more

Feels like a proper Marathon race shoe

Reading the feed-backs I ordered half a size up (a 9 rather than 8.5), the shoe fits snugly for sure. I run in adidas before and returned to the brand as I knew the shoes work for my type of feet. After my first 10miles I can say that the shoe feels light to run in and is definitely designed as a marathon racing shoe. Can't fault anything at this stage but looking at the shoe its well-designed and the sole has the right shock-absorbent functionality without making the shoe feel spongy. ... read more

Love Adidas but not these

Whilst pretty stylish for tennis trainers they are a lighter red, verging on pink than shown in pictures. These were on the smaller side and were quite tight due to it not having a separate tongue. Due to a lot of ankle padding I would recommend going up half a size from your normal. ... read more

Painful during my tennis match

The built in tongue comes up way too high on my foot and caused excessive pressure on my front ankle as I ran to balls during my singles match. My foot hurt so much I almost had to retire, but then I folded the top of the tongue down and that provided some relief. Also, wearing higher socks is a must. I really like the look of the shoe, the fit at toe box and bottom of sole, but the ankle area does not work for me. I have a narrow ankle. ... read more

Great shoe, but sizing hhhmmm

It’s not all bad. These are seriously good shoes. But I find the sizing a little off. Whilst I’m normally a uk 10.5 (euro 45) after advice from the reviews to size up I still find they aren’t correct for me. I seem to sit between a 10.5 & 11. But that’s me. Personally I love them. There’s always thick socks. ... read more

Pretty good

I found myself buying some Adios 4s when there weren't any Sub2s in stock, needless to say, I'm not disappointed with my decision. The Adios feels great to race in. The width was a bit narrow in comparison to the Sub2 (I have Wide feet) but I'm sure they'll break in after a few more runs. As expected the Adios is slightly more plush and heavier than the Sub2 which is more responsive and Light. Personally, I would enjoy the Adios just as much as the Sub2 if it was slightly more wide around the middle to the toe area and maybe shaving a bit more weight (some lightweight trainers from other brands had similar weights) however its pretty lightweight as it is. Overall I recommend this shoe to people who have pretty average feet. ... read more

A superb running experience. The best shoes I ever had.

I broke my own record, with these shoes. I am ready to break more records. Too extra space inside would not be good because it would make it slower. Although it might seem a bit too tight initially, it will become completely normal after wearing it for 30 minutes. Do not select a size larger than your normal. I prefer to use these shoes for competition, and I use an other pair for the gym and walking. But keep in mind that these shoes will help keep your feet injury free in all cases. ... read more

Top Running Shoes.

Really like these shoes, I'd go as far as to say they're the best I've had over the past 3 or 4 years. Good impact absorption, very comfortable all round, no rubbing or pinching anywhere. I particularly like the support and padding around the heel area, which really works for me. The lacing can be customised a little to get an individual fit. Adidas do recommend going up half a size over your usual with these shoes, I had to go up from 10 to 11 to get a perfect fit, but that's just my feet! ... read more

Great tennis shoes

These shoes are really comfortable and great for tennis - they provide good traction on hard court and are extremely light.
