So so shoe

I bought this shoe as a cheap alternative. The shoe is made very well. But the outside foot causes a little pain. They provide good support. They don’t feel comfortable enough to wear for any casual setting. ... read more

Good shoe, Great price!

For the price this shoe is GREAT! I play basketball 3 times a week in a gym, I am always looking for shoes that can help improve my game. These shoes here are really good. Great grip, comfortable and affordable. The biggest complaint I have is that the shoes tend to run a bit big. I find my foot moving around a tad when im guarding someone. Hard to tie tighter because the laces run a bit short. Support seems to be minimal. My last shoe I wore, were the Dame 4's. I prefer the Dame's over these..But only because of the support. Still great shoe and ill keep in my rotation. ... read more

The ribbon that holds the laces together chafes against the laces and breaks down.

These shoes are perfect except for the ribbon that holds the laces. I’m not talking about the holes that are within the upper, but the thin loops of ribbon that secure the laces. Theyre terribly flimsy and will break and not allow the shoe to be secure. ... read more

Grip for days

As per all the other reviews I ordered half a size down, something that I've never done before and they ended up fitting perfect. They're very cushiony inside but still amazing support. They're low tops, but I feel very secure anyways. Primary use is indoor basketball. ... read more

Good performers but...

These shoes are great performance kicks with a few caveats. I'm a wide footer and went true to size and the length and width we're good. Unfortunately there was still some heel slippage. I even used all of the eyelets to lock the shoe down but that didn't work. Also the materials feel very cheap and the sneaker is not breathable AT ALL! My feet began to slide around the shoe from sweating and just added to the heel slippage. These could be great kicks if Adidas fixed those issues. ... read more

Lasted 3 weeks

I bought these during the summer to use for our high school basketball program's open gyms and workouts. I liked them at first, and they didn't happen to be too expensive unlike other shoes. I wore them 4 times during the summer with light use of 1 or 2 hours per usage. Our high school season just began mid-October. The lace loops on my shoe started to wear an unusual amount within the first two weeks of practice. By the third week, one loop had fully snapped. At first I didn't think much of it, until the side of the shoe started to come undone. Then, the next day, I noticed the mesh on the front of the shoe start to rip and open up. I am very disappointed in these shoes as Adidas is a company I have never had any problems with and as far as I know their shoes are quality. ... read more

This is the best Adidas value hands down

This is an awesome shoe, very comfortable and the full length boost is LIFE!! I recommend going down a 1/2 size as there is a little bit of heel slippage. Other than that, the fit is perfect. The materials are a smooth mesh with a lot of padding on the inside to add to the comfort. These shoes are versatile enough to wear around the house and jump on the court for some 5 on 5. I'm very glad I purchased these, you can't beat the value. Full length boost for under $75, one of the best shoes Adidas has put out in a while. ... read more

Extremely comfortable.

I really loved how the shoes felt and how they hugged my feet. They soles are the perfect balance of support and cushion. Unfortunately, Adidas runs narrow and it squeezed my foot too much so I had to return them. ... read more

Great show but not flawless

The shoe is a great basketball shoe with boost. One thing that I don’t like is it’s a low, but I still took a chance on it. Secondly in my case I have some heel slippage but it’s not terrible. This is still a great show if you’re on a budget. Solid 4.5/5. ... read more

Best show I have had in years. Like all adidas you have to move down at least a1/2 size if not one whole size. I purchased for casual wear and could not be happier. Hope they are still in stock during the next 30 off sale as I will buy a second pair. ... read more

Run big and take and are uncomfortable before breaking in

Good shoe takes a while to break in. Very soft but keeps you to the ground. I wear a 12 in Kyrie 4s and this shoe is the 11.5 was big for me. 11 would've been better, going to buy another pair though. ... read more

A GREAT SHOE, BUT NOT A GREAT BASKETBALL SHOE

This shoe is extremely comfortable and the traction was very nice as well. The cushioning more than gets the job done. The support is definitely below average for a basketball shoe. The ankle is not supported very much. The major weakness of this shoe is heel slippage. In other words, my heel would sometimes slip out of the shoe. Many reviewers of this shoe on you-tube complained about the same issue. Due to this major flaw, I personally would not prefer this product as a basketball shoe. But it's other features such as comfort, cushioning , and traction are very good to the point where I felt inclined to rate this three stars. If you do end up purchasing this product, definitely go down at-least a half size, preferably a full size. These shoes run very big. ... read more

Great shoe for casual basketball!

Great traction, great comfort thanks to boost but two things I don't like one. It's not breathable and the other is about the lockdown not very good other that for casual basketball shoe can't complain specially for the price I've bought them. ... read more

Love this shoe. Boost feels great and the shoe makes you feel fast. Very good traction. I had these for a couple of months now and never had to wipe once. I went down half a size and they fit perfect (I do have a narrow foot). I laced the shoe to the very top lace hole and had zero issues with heel slippage. I will definitely buy another pair soon. ... read more

Amazing cushion and traction

If you’re like me and play 3-4 days per week and your knees aren’t as young as they used to be then you’ll appreciate the AMAZING cushion of full length boost. Traction is great too. I think these are underrated because they don’t have a nba player attached to the crazylight series. ... read more

crazy heavy boost 2018

Pros: the shoes traction is A1 stake sauce good and it would be hard to say theirs a better traction now a days, the cushion is another thing that I really like, personally I switched the insole in the cl18 with my dame 4 insole and it helped with the fit and comfort. Your high off the ground and get next to no court feel I like it but others may not. Cons: the shoe is crazy heavy and not even close to being light but you get more cushion, the heel counter and lock down is bad, I had to crank the laces all the way and my foot kept on slipping out, while the shoe is wide foot friendly the upper is horrible but its better then the 16 upper, also the shoe dose not seem durable the upper looks like it will rip soon and you can see the glue marks on the shoe. I had higher expectations for the cl18 but hopefully they will get it right next time ... read more

Nice shoe but...

I have had the adidas crazy lightboost 2016 and it was unwearable even when i went a half size down due to the really bad heel slippage. Also the same problem with the crazy explosive 17s. These also have issues with heel slippage even a half size down I think it could due to the slippery back of the inside of the shoe and the openings not snug enough. Also there is lateral containment issues not terrrible but pretty annoying. The materials are not the best but feel soft and only improve with time. Next year and on the crazy explosives you should try to make the back grippy like the stuff used in skyzone socks and make your shoes true to size. Other than that the traction is insane even with the really dusty courts I play on. The boost setup is soft absorbs shock and is repsonsive with a suprsing amount of court feel. ... read more

boost and foot comfort superb, laceing shoe difficult.

I bought shoes because of boost designation and looks. After using, the cool looks resulted in the lacing of the shoe to be awkward and disappointing. Once shoes are tied, the comfort and support over-ride the difficulty putting on the shoe. ... read more

Decent shoe for the price

It feels comfortable walking on the court, but once you start playing my heel tend to slip out. By wearing ankle braces it actually made the fit of the shoe 100x better. That way you can actually tie the shoe tight and not have to worry about the laces hurting you through the tongue since it’s a thin tongue. ... read more

Go a Half size down (performance review)

Shoe runs Very Long suggested you run half size down cushioning set up is very plush and comfortable and the traction grips hard just like CLB 2016 heel slippage is a a problem if you go true to size like what i did, tried returning for another size but didnt meet return standards after one day of playing oh well. Way too big ...

Shoes came in yesterday, and they're huge. I wear a size 13 in Ultra Boost, but usually go down a half size in adidas hoop shoes. So, I ordered a 12.5, however, I am going to need either a size 12 or maybe even an 11.5 ... How does this even happe? Adidas needs to get better at saying what shoes run long and which ones don't because I am sick and tired of having to return items for a small size. ... read more
