Good first impression too soon to judge

Two short runs recently felt less effort: I had not run for 4 months and the change in footware was positive, my old shoes designed for walking on the pavement can roll. The shoes are feel secure and light - I do not know how they will fair in winter and how many miles they will last. I was not happy with the metal eyelets : they have a ridge on the inside and potentially will fray laces or rub on the tongue - I have already installed a tightly fitted guard on each lace to cover the eyelet ridges. ... read more

Lightweight, rugged made for fast hiking.

I bought these cause they looked good, and maybe also for the Continental collab on the soles. That turns out to be one of the best features. The hiking around here tends towards sandy soil so a slip resistant sole is key. They do the trick. Plus they still look good with the orange details! ... read more

Absolute terrible product.

Second time I've bought these shoes, hoping they would get better. They didn't. First pair was an entire size too big. Second pair I bought were still too big, after buying a size smaller. Gave me terrible blisters. ... read more

Great for running or hiking

I wanted a comfy but stylish pair of shoes with Goretex that I could use for running or hiking and that's just what I got. Boost keeps my feet feeling fresh and the goretex keeps my feet dry which I love. It held up on some rigorous hiking trails in Montana and I will keep using it for all my outdoor shoe needs. Great purchase. ... read more

Great outdoor shoe

I Love the Boost sole and was hoping that these outdoor shoes would be a good fit for my problem feet as I only wear Adidas Boost/Ultraboost shoes however I found these to be too tight across the widest part of my foot and I even tried going up a size. They looked great & I really wanted them to fit but unfortunately they run a little too narrow for my foot. ... read more

An excellent shoe that fits me perfectly and performs very well.

I love this shoe. It is one of the few shoes that seems to fit me in both width and length so I never end up with blisters or foot issues. Works great on the track, street or trail. Plus love the waterproof aspect although I haven't had to deal with wet conditions yet. ... read more

Most comfortable shoe

Wow what a pair of trainers/shoes they are soon as put them on I knew they were going to be comfortable, they feel so good on your feet. Also the sole is ideal for walking on wet rocks as it has fantastic grip plus it doesn't make your feet sweat too much too. Perfect ... read more

Amazing as hockey astros!

I'm using these Tracerockers as hockey astros and they've been great so far. The best thing about these shoes is how light they are whilst still providing protection and grip for hockey. The Gore-Tex lining is ideal for playing on water-based astroturf. ... read more

One of the most comfortable trail shoes

I've been searching for the perfect trail shoe for awhile. Most have been too firm, those there weren't didn't have sufficient weather proofing, any many gave me terrible blisters. Thanks to GTX and Boost I can have waterproofing and comfort without sacrificing stability. I use these in long wet grass and long the beach at high tide. So far I've had no issue. Even sand has trouble sticking to these. ... read more

They won’t last

This is the second pair of Terrex shoes I have had since the new year both of which with the continental sole. On both pairs the sole has worn down and split across the ball of the foot rendering them useless. Having returned the first pair and getting a refund I thought it must just be a rogue pair but it isn’t. The uppers still look like new. I wear them mainly for commuting in so I think this second pair I must have only walked 50 to 60 miles in and now they are cracking the same. I am about to request a refund and won’t be buying a third pair. ... read more

Comfort, style and excellent traction.

First of all, this is my first pair of Boost support footwear and so far so good. I have tried and tested Adidas Mana Bounce, comfort wise a hard act to follow. I have also purchased the Terrex Cmtk GTX, very comfortable but the Agravic Boost wins out. 1) The traction resulting from the Continental grip outsole is unrivalled regardless of weather conditions or surface underfoot. (This along with a supportive upper construction backed up with a secure lacing system allows for a fluid stride). 2) The Boost midsole provides more than enough comfort for an urban setting. I have not experienced the off road/extreme environment the Agravic GTX were designed for but i already feel confident they can handle it. (not too heavy or anywhere close in my opinion). 3) The insole removes easily and I swapped out the original ones and replaced them with Sofsole Gel inserts. This added more cushion but ultimately I returned to the Adidas insoles as the loss of room detracted from the overall feel of the shoe. (Personal preference). 4) Premium upper materials combined with a waterproof interior lining provide comfort, style and protection from the elements. (Snagged the petrol blue edition). 5) The fit was actually better than most of the my previous Adidas purchases, the Agravic GTX runs true to size for a trail shoe. (enough room to manoeuvre over longer distances). 6) All of this combined with a fantastic price point and fast delivery. ... read more

Perfect Approach Shoe

These are ideal for use as an approach shoe or for moderate to heavy all day hiking. They are indeed waterproof - so they tend to run warmer than your typical athletic shoes - which should be expected. The only thing I would change slightly is the rubber outsole, I would prefer a stiffer and harder rubber for these. ... read more

Falling apart within months

If I'm going to spend £120 on a pair of hiking shoes, they better be lasting me for years. After literally one trip with these there is already a huge, deep crack right through the rubber sole and in to the shoe, essentially making them useless as they are no longer waterproof. Style over substance and the same old short-lived Adidas quality. Save your money and buy a proper hiking shoe from a company that makes them exclusively. They are also too narrow in the toe area and not comfortable at all to walk long distances in. Seriously disappointed. ... read more

Very comfy and stable

These shoes are extremely comfy to run in, both on and off road. The grip was excellent on a muddy track and the Gore-Tex kept my feet nice and dry. The width was perfect in proportion to the size - which was also a good fit. The quality seems to be very good, although I have only worn them a handful of times. ... read more

Great, stylish, reasonably comfortable, waterproof!

I already have the Terrex AX2R GTX (all black) which are wonderfully comfortable and was looking for another piece of waterproof footwear. The Continental grip and boost feature caught my eye. I can't say I felt any difference in the boost compared to the Terrex AX2R GTX and not really had the opportunity yet to test the difference in grip. I see these as a more vibrant and stylish version of the Terrex AX2R GTX Shoes, albeit slightly narrower for the same size, which was marginally less comfortable. All in all, great though I prefer the Terrex AX2R GTX ever so slightly for all-day wear. ... read more

Great option for wet running days

I love Adizero as my go to running shoes, they are so light and have Boost tech as well as great Continental grips, BUT I hate running in wet feet. These Terrex GTX are much heavier than Adizeros, but keep you dry on those days when rain tempts you to stay in bed. They are a good fit and your pinkies stay dry and snug on the footpaths. I'm not a mud/trail runner but on roads and pavements the GTX liner helps me conquer puddles with ease along with Boost and Continental grips. I couldn't find anything lighter, which is a shame - guess it's a construction thing! ... read more

a solid trail treckking shoe

The laces system could be at the level of its peers! Though, so far with a double lace it has stayed in place without a problem, contrarily to what has been previously reported. I'm only used to the "glide's and zero" boost's for normal 10k asphalt training and half marathons. This is a different class, will need more time for a proper review! ... read more

Seem like a solid trainer

My previous shoe was a kanadia in size 9 that fit perfectly. When they wore out I ordered a terrex agravic speed (not this shoe) in a 9, which was far too small, and much too narrow. Assuming they would be too narrow even in the correct size, I returned them and replaced with these, which looked a wide fit, in a 10 to be on the safe side. To be honest a 9.5 would fit better, but they arrived the same morning I was about to go out and do 13 miles in the snow, so I bit the bullet and just wore them. So far I've done 115 miles in them, in conditions ranging from thick snow to mud to relatively dry. The gore tex provides decent waterproofing (obviously not if it's ankle deep and goes in the top). I've run distances between 3 and 13 miles, taking in climbs of 1000ft, over grass, trails, ploughed fields, without any comfort issues. The lugs don't look massive and they seem quite sparsely positioned, but they provide relatively good grip and the only falls I've had have been descending a waterlogged, chewed-up mud/grass hillside diagonally. At first I felt a bit like the support was too low at the back and that my ankle was exposed, but I've got used to how they feel now. Possibly this is because they're a shade too big. ... read more

A proper waterproof runner!

This shoe has a full Goretex waterproof liner which means the tongue is connected to the rest of the shoe with a gusset. This is a significant difference to my previous TERREX Agravic 310 trail runners which only had a Goretex liner in the body of the shoe and, therefore, no water protection around the tongue. The extra material in the Tracerocker GTX makes the shoe a bit bulkier across the front, but they are still 13g lighter than my 310s. The all-black design is very functional if uninspiring. The sole is not branded as Conti rubber but feels very similar under-foot although it squeaks more on polished floors. The laces have a standard flat profile, rather than the smoother variable-width round profile of the Agravic 310 laces, making them slightly harder to adjust. ... read more
