Always wanted Adidas to bring out some classic style sneakers with a Boost midsole and this by far is my favourite mashup of the 'Nevermade' pack! Love the plush feel of the upper and the soft cushioning of the midsole. Keep 'em coming Adidas...! ... read more
Very nice design and fabric used, love it a lot. it’s justit took me too much effort and a very long time to find out the unisex measurement is marked with the Woman US or Man US, the size chart is very stupid and not helpful at all. (Turns out it’s measured with Man US size. FYI, US size 5 = Internaitonal size 37) ... read more
The best modern/retro runner mashup yet. I love the original ZX series and Boost so there were a must cop for me, especially in this clean simple colourway. This is such a strong, exaggerated shape, not so much a chunky sneaker as a SOLID shoe. On foot they are really comfy - but go half a size up. The EQT branded inserts firm up the Boost midfoot and there's a good balance of response and stability. Materials are quality throughout - heavy duty mesh, high grade brushed suede. Branding and detailing looks great from every angle. Just a great looking, great feeling shoe you can dress up or down and wear how you like. ... read more
I have been waiting for these shoes for most of 2018. Something about the green and gum sole just pop on this shoe. I wasn't a fan of the sole when this style 1st dropped. I'm still not, with the exception being this one shoe. Super light and comfortable too. Kind of thin feeling, as it should be given the type of shoe. ... read more
0.5 size too big on my right and I'd say 1 size bigger on my left. I know that people usually have one foot bigger than another, but I've never received a shoe with this big of a discrepancy. The insole was really thin, and was coming out of the shoe when received. The boost wasn't very comfortable. I'd stick with any other boost than these. Tongue felt cheap and loose with my feet. I'd stick with NMDs or ultraboosts. ... read more
bought these, about to return them. Appear flimsy and thin, not solid at all. If they hadn't come direct from adidas I'd question they are genuine. Toes are baggy and thin, no innersoles, 'feature' mesh on sides is simply printed (badly) on the side of the boost soles. I purchased at sale price, but still to much $ for what they are. disappointed, have a large number of adidas trainers and these don't cut it. ... read more
Boost comfort, but more stability than Iniki/I-5923, which was my previous benchmark. Super cool silhouette that goes good w/athletic wear, jeans, or trousers for that proper “dad look.” Italian colorway makes these super cool... ... read more
There was glue marks around various joints and seams. And the shoes are very wide making them look baggy. But they are a very cool design so I’ll put up with the rest! Sorry Adidas, I do love your products though. ... read more
I always get compliments on my Adidas sneakers and these are no exception. The blue pops and they are stylish with comfort wear and with casual skirts and dresses. They are sold in men’s sizes so I got a size 6 for my size 8-in-womens feet. Spacious in terms of width. They were a little big but I added inserts and they are a perfect fit. ... read more
Every few years, Adidas drops a great looking retro with a squeaky tongue (plastic on plastic). This is one of them. Vaseline applied and it went away but I have to take points away. Toe guard a little uncomfortable because its profile is so low, material is very thin but overall, the shoe looks amazing and the sole is ridiculously comfortable to walk in. A good, not great release. ... read more
I bought this shoes for about a month time, but only wore it for like 4-5 times. But the lace holder ring is falling off. Very disappointing and sad. Apart from this is a very nice shoes. Comfy, and fashion. ... read more
First off the nylon mesh is superlight and airy. It's also transparent - and the outline of the tongue shows through if you have contrasting socks on. If you have super long feet, you may be able to pull off this sneaker's look. To my sensibilities and 9.5 c feet, these feel quite wide, and look something like hooves. I loved the look in the photos but not so much IRL. Regardless of that, the new pair arrived stained both on the shoe itself and on a lace. Brand new white shoes are def not worth a premium if they don't even start out mint. Returned. ... read more
The shoe is a hybrid of the Adidas Marathon and the brand’s i-5923 (Iniki Runner). The former is Adidas’s remade road racing shoe, and the latter shoe is an updated version of the Iniki runner, a 1970s-inspired sneaker Adidas released in 2017. The MarathonX5923 is the Marathon’s suede and mesh upper perched atop the i-5923’s Boost midsole. The resulting amalgam blends the quintessential Marathon upper with the comfort and energy return of Boost, with minor touches like Dellinger midsole webbing to satisfy retro running nerds. Adidas releases Marathon-inspired shoes fairly regularly, but the MarathonX5923 promises modern comfort underfoot with an upper that's straight out of the late ’70s ... read more
Look great. A little getting used to the feel. Had to change out insole b/c they are so narrow and tall that it felt like my arches were falling off of cliffs. The shoe seems to force pronation a little. Hopefully will improve with break-in. ... read more
So these trainers look great, a little old school with a fresh new style. My issue is how cheap they feel and how uncomfortable. Been wearing them a week now and still getting blisters on heal. The tongue is so flimsy and rolls under itself at times which then in turn digs into you. All in all style over substance and comfort! ... read more
I love the way the shoe looks. The NMD sole makes for a very promising shoe, but the insole is cut a little too narrow on the inner arch making for an uncomfortable fit. I replaced the narrow insole with an Ultra Boost insole and the fit is now perfect. ... read more
Truly an incredible, iconic design. It runs a little small (I’m normally an adidas US 12, needed a US 13 for the Micropacer - but I think this is largely due to the recent ‘sock’-like designs in the industry, leading a standard shoe like this to now feel on the small side). Every person that has seen these on me has commented just how amazing they are, and that they want a pair. They definitely stand out, but the shiny silver isn’t as glaring as I had feared, which is great. The *only* thing wrong with these Micropacers is the back part, that actually digs into the back of your ankle (and caused peeling skin/almost blisters, on day 1. That said, this is more of a problem with low socks, and if you pull the back of the shoes around a bit, it relaxes them somewhat. Had less pain after doing this. Also, it isn’t the kind of shoe you would wear every day, so the slight discomfort is totally worth it. ... read more
