I love the adizero Boston shoes!

I love these shoes. I have had the last 3 models and I refuse to change to a different running shoe! I run about 15 miles per week. They are very lightweight, comfortable, and last a long time! I highly recommend these shoes! ... read more

Extremely Comfortable Runner

These shoes are incredibly comfortable. I'm getting back into running after allowing myself to get overweight. Other shoes I've used have been hard on my knees and ankles, but these are like running on little pillows of air! They are incredibly lightweight and supportive, even for someone who is on the heavier side. ... read more

Better than the Adios 3

No changes to the midsole or outsole compared to the Adios 3, but the upper is completely new and much more comfortable. It still runs small - I went up a full size compared to my usual sizing in other brands. Still the best fast light shoe out there. You can just keep going and going in them. ... read more

My favourite training shoe of all time

A do everything running shoe. From long runs to track. It has the right blend of comfort and lightness in a classic looking shoe. I'm on my fourth pair and they are my favourite shoes I've ever owned. The fit is a little narrow, but that suits me as I have very skinny feet. Please don't screw up the Boston with the 8. ... read more

New favorite

These tights feel like a second layer of skin. They are are so comfortable, feather light, flexible. Also they are SO flattering. My only complaint is the same as other reviews- the waist band has slim to no stretch to it. This makes it difficult to get on, but once you do it isn’t a problem and actually helps feel secure. ... read more

New favourite shoes

Bought these to replace my old worn out ones, was a little hesitant about the price but my word are they worth every penny. I’m usually a size 5 1/2 to 6 and after reading the reviews I went for the size 6 and they are perfect! They’re nice and tight but also super breathable so my feet don’t feel suffocated. Love that the opening for the foot is elasticated so no need to worry about tying the laces. Just slip them on and you’re good to go! Honestly my new favourite shoes. Feels like my feet are getting a hug!! ... read more

My Favourite Interval/Tempo/Racing Shoe

Adidas didn't change much from the Adios 3, which is good news for me because I loved that shoe. The styling is the biggest change. I preferred the retro styling of the 3, but this is still nice. The laces are upgraded to be more elastic. I weighed my shoes, and they are identical in weight. The cushioning feels the same -- enough to take the sting out of the road, but still firm enough to be responsive. I have slightly wider than average feet and thought the fit was a bit narrow until I took them out for a run and realized they fit great. I am wearing my usual running shoe size. I think these are a great 10k-half marathon racing shoe, great for tempos and intervals, and still light and responsive enough for 5k races. My one request would be for more colour options, like green and blue. ... read more

Light, Responsive yet well cushioned for the job

The Adios 4 is a lightweight racing shoe perfect for distances from a track 5k up to a half marathon. Although I was a big fan of the Sub2 as a 5-10k racing flat, the Adios 4 does the job it's required to do. For me, the Adios 4 is more of a jack of all trades, not quite as light and nimble as the Sub2 but is still a responsive yet well-cushioned racing flat capable of going quite far. My only problem (which was a similar problem with the Sub2 and many shoes nowadays) was that the midfoot was quite narrow as the tongue was stitched onto the upper (I have quite a wide toe box and midfoot, however, I was able to cut off the stitching between the upper and the tongue which freed up my foot a bit. Overall I would recommend this for runners who want a good looking shoe that can do a wide variety of distances. ... read more

Needed a half size smaller

I think the Adios 4 are bit more stiff, so the shoes will last longer. The shoes have a tighter fit compared to the previoius model. The shoe will give you just as adidas tells you a tight and locked-in -fit. Regards Botond ... read more

Great Road Racer

Trying Adidas again as my current racing flat has a heel cup that aggravates my achilles. No such problem with the Adios 4. Adios fits my narrow foot well. A UK10 is a comfortably snug fit as long as I use a lacelock to avoid any forward movement/middle toe bumping. I wear a UK10 in all else, except spikes and the Boston 6/7 (need a UK10.5 in those). Not the very lightest, so training not racing on the track, but perfect for road 5k, 10k, HM. Good flexibility in the mid/forefoot, but stable and responsive. No problem at 5 to 6min/mile pace. At 64kg, I'd even consider them as a daily trainer*. The upper and midsole were comfy out the box, comfier from 50k onwards. Good laces too! *Not sure about longevity. I know the Conti outsole lasts forever on Bostons and the old Supernovas, but it's thinner here. Makes a much more fun and flexible shoe, but probably a 500 mile lifespan. Any more will be a bonus. Great value when on offer. ... read more

Probably the worst Adizero Adios boost running shoe

I've ran in the Adizero Adios Boost 2 and Adizero Adios Boost 3, however the Adizero Adios Boost 4 is way to narrow and the materials on the upper doesn't give enough when running. The boost sole is also not as responsive. Extremely disappointing, as I have ran in this model for the past 5 years. Unfortunately, this model, 4, has lost its way. I do like the cosmetic design of the heel but the toe box is not as comfortable as previous models. ... read more

Definitely overpriced for the quality.

I found these sneakers rather flimsy. I never have problems with light-weight neutral sneakers but these required insoles, and even then, still felt thin and unsupportive. The sneakers are very stylish so for fashion's sake, get them. If comfort is of utmost importance, don't waste your time. ... read more

Used for a half marathon, loved them!

I ran my first half marathon a couple weeks ago and these shoes were amazing. I love how lightweight they are and so comfortable. I appreciated that there was nothing about the shoe I had to worry about during long runs. My feet stayed in really good shape, never hurt, and the way the shoe fits is just perfect. I am definitely going to get a second pair. ... read more

Fantastic running shoes

I've recently taken up running and decided it was time to splash out on some decent shoes at I increased my distance and speed. After reading several 'best running shoes' articles, the only ones that featured in all of them were the Adizero Adios 4 (or 3). I was initially put off by the price, but with Adidas's 33% off promotion I decided to take a chance and bought a pair. As soon at I put them on for the first time I knew they'd be good. They fitted like a glove (I went half a size up a recommended) and they felt great. I've only worn them twice for running so far, but beat my best time for 5km by over 1 minute first time out, and my 10km time by over 2 minutes in my second run. I'm looking forward to more runs in them in the near future with realistic expectations of running faster and faster. ... read more

This is my second pair of Adizero Bostons, and I love them

I got these in black (the gray were sold out, unfortunately). They're light and comfortable. Great running shoes, I know this new pair won't disappoint. My feet are on the thin side and ultraboost are too wide for me, which sucks, but these are a good alternative. They fit like a glove since they're a bit narrower in the front, if that makes sense. The soles on my previous Bostons wore out quite fast (and I don't run super often), it might be the same case with these, because the sole looks exactly the same. But I'll keep coming back for Bostons anyway, please don't stop making them. A greater selection of colors would be awesome, too. ... read more

Another great edition of a great shoe

I've always been a fan of the Boston and the 7 is a strong update. The midsole and outsole seems the same as 6 to me -- just the right amount of Boost for a high mileage shoe but not so much it feels mushy. The chief improvements are to the upper -- the mesh is significantly improved, there's a bit more room in the toe box and the heel is great. The cage is soft and really wonderful. The current versions of the Boston and Adios both feel kind of magical in terms of fit -- it's just so dialed and such an extension of your foot. All of those little niggles on fit you get with other shoes in your rotation just don't exist with these (at least for my feet!). The Adios 4 for me, is the ultimate road running shoe, but the Boston is every bit as good and it's the one I grab for long training days. Plus there's this arguing for the Boston 7: it makes a remarkably capable trail shoe and really shines on all but the most technical trails. It's really a surprise how strong the Boston 7 is off the road. Unless it's really muddy or a ton of wet rocks on the route, it's become my go-to for cross country or trail running. That was a happy shock for me: a perfect shoe for the road also more than capable cross country and on light trails. If you could only have one running shoe, this is it. ... read more

Light, fast shoe, the upper is amazing

I hate to take my Adios off! The shoes have a very quick turnover at any pace. Extremely comfortable up to 20 miles. I'm sure a marathon would be fine too. My feet are average width and I find the upper to be the best of any shoe I've worn in years -- my foot is perfectly locked down but never feels compressed at all. And the Adios looks so understated and classy too. Great shoe... ... read more

Good purchase

Light and comfy shoes, they also look great! I needed to go 1/2 size bigger cause I have wide feet but generally I think you can go true to size. In my case I need the extra space in the toes but this shoes are meant to be a bit tight so better to try 2 sizes and decide after. ... read more

Great light weight shoe for marathons

I’ve tried many brands with varying levels of support and love these the best for long distance. They are extra light and have more fabric to allow for a wider fit (for wider feet.) I’ve run several marathons and 50ks in them, they’re great. I would recommend these shoes for someone who is trained in zero drop or lower support shoes. Transitioning from a high support to these is possible, but could be challenging. ... read more
