excellent shoe
This is my second pair, the comfort and quality is incredible for the price. My first pair lasted a couple of years before the inside of the heel started to fail and I gave them a rough time before they got to that point. Cushy and springy and breathable and a huge step up from the original adizero SL. My only minor complaint is the quality of the laces, but that seems to be an ongoing theme with Adidas
Can definitely recommend this shoe

They’re great, but took a few runs to break in.
After reading so many great reviews on the Adizero SL2, I decided to try them out. It took a few runs to break in the foam, but the Lightstrike Pro foam is responsive and provides some nice pop.
Some reviews recommended going up a half size, but a larger size wasn’t available (I wear a US size 13). While the length and width were great, the upper initially felt a little snug. However, they became more comfortable after wearing them for a few minutes before the run. The heel isn’t as unstable for me as some reviews have mentioned, especially compared to other shoes I’ve worn (e.g. Endorphin Speed).
I’ve run up to 5K on these shoes and I would be comfortable running a 10k in them. I haven’t had any rubbing, hot spots, or blisters, but I have had challenges with lockdown on the right shoe. Perhaps a runner’s loop will correct this.
I am rotating these shoes with the Supernova Rise 2 (which I love), but they provide a different running experience. I only have 20 miles on the SL2s, but they have been a really good shoe so far.
