Smells unlike other new shoes. Extremely strong and very obvious smell of chemicals. To be expected from brand new sneakers but these have been sitting in an empty room for 5-6 days since delivery and the entire room smells of that plastic smell. It’s not rubber. It’s something else used in the manufacture. Waiting for them to off-gas but a week should have been enough. Unlike any other adidas I’ve received and I have many. To be honest not comfortable wearing these even with socks as obviously my feet will be encased in these VOCs for hours a day and more as they heat up. Will probably order a new pair and return these. This is not right.
