Great stable shoes for lifting!

I am usually a UK 6 but ordered a 7 after reading reviews. 6.5 would have been perfect but I kept them anyway as they are very comfy when laced up. My squats already feel better and I don't know how I managed to get this far without them! ... read more

Great value, first-time lifting shoes

Got these in the sale so they were excellent value, and great choice for my first pair of lifting shoes. Plenty of room in the shoe - I went for my normal trainer size in adidas, didn't need to size up. They seem to have lasted well so far - would definitely buy again when needed. ... read more

Runs small and a little narrow

I really like the look of these shoes and they seem great for lifting. But they def run small. I bought my usual size and was super eager to take them to the gym so figured that while they felt a bit tight, they'd loosen up. But alas I think they are actually a half size too small. Bummer! I will have to see if I can shell out for the bigger size. ... read more

Not sure going up a half size was the right thing to do.

Shoes seem nice. I enjoy the support they provide during lifts. I wish I knew what a half size smaller feels like. I think that may have been a better choice rather than going up a half size. Hopefully they hold up; they are made in China. ... read more

Great quality but too loose for my preference.

I read all the great reviews and wanted to like these but my feet felt kinda loose even though I went with half size down. In the end, my feet felt more secure with 2 straps (which I prefer) with Reebok Legacy Lifters. I also prefer the ladies Reebok color schemes better. ... read more

Great shoe!

I was unsure of which size to go for due to the guidance on here. I had size 6 Powerlift 2s which were too big, so I took a gamble on the 5.5s and they were perfect! Same good quality as the Powerlift 2s, and slightly more aesthetically pleasing! ... read more

Best bang for your buck

I’m a powerlifter Who has always just squatted in chuck Taylor’s, these were my first weightlifting shoes. I’m able to squat to depth so much easier and with no lower back rounding or “butt wink”. Shoes make it feel like your feet are glued to the floor and the Velcro strap and narrow design makes for no foot shifting inside of shoe. Very happy with purchase and looking forward to years of use. 10/10 would recommend ... read more

Sharp with good quality

I bought this product with squatting in mind. Currently I don’t believe my squat strength has increased but it’s only been a week or so, so not enough time has passed to determine this. I used to squat in a flat shoe (SABO DL shoe). It certainly increases quad activation and takes pressure off the hip joints and lower back if you struggle with either of these on squat. On a side note I decided to try them on bench and it helped immensely with proper leg drive since it was easier to keep my heels planted on the ground. If you’ve never used weightlifting shoes before and have been debating it I would recommend giving them a try, but realize they may not work for you and that’s okay. From a hypertrophy standpoint they will definitely help with quad growth and from a strength stand point they may or may not help, but there is only one way to find out. ... read more

Perfect for Stronglifts 5x5

I buy this pair of lifting shoes to support my Stronglifts 5x5 program. While I knew that this kind of shoes are extensively used by power lifters, I never consider myself on that select group. Finally, I took my chance with this pair and I can attest that is the best pair of shoes I ever used to lift in my 40 year lift. Perfect fit, strong support by the laces and velcro strap, firm, not to heavy and amazing support when doing any stand exercises, like squads, rows , dead lifts and, overhead presses. ... read more

Perfect weightlifting shoes for me

I was struggling to get a pair of decent weightlifting shoes as I have tiny feet small size 3 and many weightlifting shoes are too large (lots only for men) seems some sport brands forget women (even small women) do also train for weightliftings. Thanks for Adidas made such wonderful weightlifting trainers. It is exactly what I need. I have narrow feet so 3.5 fit me perfectly, as I found any other Adidas trainers 3.5 slightly too big and wide as I prefer snuggling fit. I also love the small wedge, not too heigh just enough to enhance my lighting since I am quite flexible for deep squats already. All in all, I would say fab trainers and thanks again to Adidas. I may get another pair with different colour for my colour coding gym outfits. :) ... read more

Best Squat Shoes

I don't often review products, but shoes are worth it. I bought them for squatting, and they sure get the job done. They keep my feet in place and stable during heavy lifts. I don't recommend for deadlifting, as they have a large heel. Awesome overall squatting shoes though - highly recommend! ... read more

Superior hard bottom lifting shoe at an excellent value with minimal lift

I’ve said that the width is a hair wider but that of course is subjective based on the individual lifters foot. My foot tends to be narrow/regular and so I’m always tightening the ties, as well as the strap. Overall the 3.1 is an absolutely better choice than my chucks! ... read more

Ignore sizing advice

Decent quality; look and feel great. I ordered the trainer in both my normal shoe size and a half size down as the site advises but actually found my usual size to be the better fit; although they are snug, this is what you want. Don't downsize. ... read more

Sizing runs small so order at least half a size up but a brilliant product

The sizing runs a little small so make sure to order at least half a size bigger to allow for this. Overall the shoes are amazing, much more stable than normal shoes and they keep your feet at a much better angle which helps when squatting or deadlifting heavy. 10000% would recommend!! ... read more
