I love these trail shoes

Fab ankle support and because they are elasticated, they are equally comfortable on slightly different width feet. Also the elasticated/stretchy top means that chippings don't get down inside. Great support and comfort even when walking on very rough and rocky ground ... read more

One of the most comfortable hiking shoes I've worn

I saw this got a bit of hype online, so I thought I'd given them a try as I love hiking shoes. Blown away with the comfort, stability and traction. The Boost is that little bit softer for additional comfort and they run that little bit wider for room in the toe. Love these and I hope we see a Goretex version soon. ... read more

Wow, just wow!

Took these Easter weekend to the Guadalupe Mountains for Hunters Peak, the Bowl and Bear Canyon trails. Couldn’t have been more pleased with comfort and ankle protection. My legs were sore at the end of the day but not my feet. Great purchase! ... read more

Seam too thick over right ankle. Created agony. Unwearable.

The left boot was wonderfully comfortable and I loved it. The right one had a bulky and hard seam right over my ankle bone, the seam on the left boot was flat and did not cause a problem. I had to return the boots and got a refund. Such a shame. ... read more

A great hiking shoe

I've been looking for a stylish and comfortable hiking shoe for a while but never liked the usual options available to me. Too bulky or heavy and the same gray-khaki tones everywhere. When I found these, I just had to buy a pair. I took them out for a spin a few days ago where I walked over rough, gravel and dirt terrain and these held up incredibly. I love the boost technology and the grip of the continental soles. Can't wait for another color way to drop so I can purchase another pair. ... read more

Surprisingly a great hiking shoe alternative

Purchased these for my boyfriend since he's been having foot muscle pains for a few weeks and I wanted to start hiking once a week, regularly. It was tough to find a hiking shoe that was stylish, comfortable, flexible, and durable since most other hiking shoes are bulky, heavy, and stiff. When I stumbled across these, I was ecstatic. While they fit him a half size too big, he found that to be a good fit considering the foot pains he's been having. We took 'em out for brief walk a few days ago and he had nothing but positive things to rave about the shoe. Needless to say, we're both looking into purchasing another pair in the future when a new color way drops. ... read more

Great lightweight hikers (one small catch)

They run 1/2 size big, very lightweight, sock like feel but durable. One issue I have noticed is that on trail descents I notice that my foot slides forward to the front of the shoe. No real issue yet, curious if others have experienced this. Might need to tie them tighter. ... read more

Love em

I found these run a bit long but not wide. I am a uk10 and they had too much room in the toe area (not a huge issue tho). I did find that the lacing system stuck into my feet and caused them to be quite uncomfortable on occasion. I’m hoping repeated wear rectifies this for me. Otherwise they are incredibly comfortable and look great. ... read more

Couldn’t wait for these to release. Was tired of the clunky hiking boot. Take them out hiking every weekend and my feet are thanking me. Would love these with a Goretex coating, but I’ll take the water resistance. ... read more

Just got these shoes last week jus day before I went hiking being sceptical to wear them as normally all hiking shoes you have to break in . These were perfect from the moment I put them on, to be honest I haven’t ever had this comfortable hiking shoes . Light , super comfy , great ankle support ,great grip and not to mention contemporary look. Fits size perfectly . Love them . ... read more

The Most Comfortable Boots I Have Ever Worn!

Size runs slightly larger on the toe box area but the angle support is extremely good. The shoe itself is super comfortable even as a everyday shoe. In fact, I find it to be more comfortable than the Ultraboost for my particular foot size. I like it so much now I am now considering investing in a second pair as a backup. ... read more

Like ultra boosts for hiking

The comfort of this shoe (or boot) is FANTASTIC. After miles and miles of hiking, my feet normally got sore but never with these boots. The comfort is the same you'd experience with ultra boost, but with extra support for your ankles and more of a waterproof build. They felt broken in the moment I put them on, and never experience any discomfort even on the first trail. Shoes never got wet in rain unless accidentally stepping in a big puddle. Order a half to maybe even a full size smaller than what you normally wear in NMDs and ultra boost. ... read more

Superb walking shoes

Love these. I was surprised by the number of reviewers who claimed that these come up large. It led me to going down half a size and they were too tight at the toes and i returned for my normal size and they fit perfectly. I consider myself to have average width feet. I wear these everyday at the moment and I could walk for miles in them. So comfortable and yet sturdy as well. Brilliant shoes! ... read more

Great Hiking Shoe, Though Sizing is Large

Love this athletic hiking shoe. I generally wear a 7.5-8, regular width, the 8 was huge on me, the 7.5 was still a bit wide in the front but fit perfectly elsewhere. I stuck with that. They make my feet look a little large, but they are so comfortable and I love the ankle support and that the heel stays nice and in place. Excited to use them all summer. ... read more

Worth the $

I was so excited to find a pair of non-hideous hiking shoes! These are amazing. Wore them for the first time on a 9.4 mile hike in the Tucson mountains and they performed well! With a pair of good socks you won't get any blisters and there was no "breaking in" time. Buy them! ... read more

Best Walking / Hiking Shoe you can buy!

Bar-tack stitching on ankle is abrasive

Great shoe, but runs large

Normally wear 11.5 in NMD and UB shoes. I got 11.5s in the Terrex Free Hikers. They ran quite big. There's a lot of extra room in the toe box, and this was with a normal to slightly thicker sock. I ordered the 11's to see if that will solve the issue. ... read more

Excellent Hiker

This Terrex Free Hiker exceeded my expectations in every aspect. They look great on foot first off. They are short comfortable, the padding in the heel and Achilles area set this apart from all the other high top hikers I've worn previously. That area locks u down, but at the same time, allows for movement n doesn't hold u back. I haven't found that in any other high top hiker, it's usually one or the other, is either restrictive or ur sliding around n unstable. Anyone looking for a comfortable, light hiking shoe, u have found it with the Adidas Free Hiker. I wish I had the chance to get the other colorway but I will settle for what they had. ... read more

My first pair of adidas hiking boots

Looks: they look quite sporty, not overly ‘hiking boot’ Fit: they fit quite snug, like a sock around your foot which makes it a bit impractical to get them on. They feel light, not like a big bulky boot. Overall: sporty boots with great grip (even on snow) and comfort. Maybe a bit restrictive after wearing them a whole day. ... read more

Perfect for hiking but still fashionable enough for getting around town.

A great lightweight hiking shoe that is still sturdy enough to hold up over tricky terrain. Really enjoy the look of the shoe, it looks as good cruising around town as it does on the mountain. Comfort is top notch. ... read more

Versatile, lightweight boot.

Really lovely boots but they definitely run large, I normally where a 9 in Adi Ultra Boost, even the 8.5 was a little large... settled on an 8 and they are spot on. A shoe like this should be snug and supportive so I'd highly recommend sizing down. Also I was wearing thick socks at the time. ... read more
